5 Things I am Doing the Same and 5 I am Doing Differently.

My mother came by to see Noah yesterday and it got me looking back on my childhood and I can see what I have been doing differently and what I have been doing the same. Some of the things that were done in my childhood were great. All be it at the time I thought it sucked. However, they are the things that I can see having a positive effect on who I am now.

Could not get Noah to put the phone down.

Stay the Same:

1)      Not let Noah watch are listen to anything I do not approve of.
2)      Watch what he eats.
3)      Press the importance of independence.
4)      Being one self.
5)      Knowing that good and bad come from people.
All be it I believe that I got some good things from my childhood their or other things that I would not do the same. I mostly feel like I was not listened to because of being the middle child, but that is a feeling I really do not want Noah to have.

Do Different:

1)      Not force him to eat it.
2)      Eat or drink anything that I will not share.
3)      Yell (still working on this one).
4)      Follow through.
5)      Listen.

I know there is not a lot going on with the blog and that I have not posted since last Sunday. However, between the giveaway, school work, and Noah I am slammed for time. I am looking forward to doing some post about my classes next week, I am reading about childhood development this means that I will be covering the milestones and such of children. I have learned some very awesome things about infants and toddlers.
