Black History Month

It is Black history month and for those of you who did not know I am black, colored, ethnic, African American, or whatever else you want to call it. I am going to take this month to write at least 4 post on people of color who have inspired me. Not all of them will be black because I feel like this should be a time to appreciate the history of all people.
Week One I will do a post on Maya Angelou and something she said that inspires forgiveness and understanding.
Week two (in time for Valentine’s Day) I will do a post on what I think about the relationship advice Tracy McMillan gives.
Week three I will talk about a person that is truly inspiring Siddhārtha Gautama (Buddha). I truly love everything this man stood for and his ideas of having an open heart and the world being about peace not religion, money, power, or things.

Week four I am going to talk about the type of role models I would like Noah to have. I am not going to make color an issue, he just needs some intelligent people to look up to.
