I am Back and with Big News!

Monday, April 25, 2016

I am BACK!!!! I have some big news but before I get to that I want to say sorry. I know I said in my Merging March post that I was getting help to get me through march, but in reality I need to have more guest post for April as well. Because I did not think my classes would take over so much (as well as with some other life stuff that I will get into) the blog got put on hold. In fact, everything around the blog (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and newsletter) all took a back seat to my education. However, the fact that I am back means my classes are done (happy dance).

First news is I am now a graduate! Well close enough my graduation date is May the 15th and the ceremony is in June (no I will not be going). That is right I now have my BA in psychology with a minor in sociology. I have now entered the world of full-time job hunting.

Second news, I am now homeschooling Noah for pre-K. I will be doing post on this every once in awhile. Before everyone gets crazy on the home school bandwagon I am not homeschooling Noah he will be going to Kindergarten next year at a school. Given my situation with living I find it will be less stressful for Noah and I if he is homeschooled.

Third news Noah is almost 4, his birthday is in 5 days. I am already in tears about it. I cannot believe that 4 years ago I gave birth to such a wonderful new life. Noah and I are not doing much for his birthday money is tight. We will be making cookies and I have gotten him some fun gifts.

Fourth news is I am adding a sunday post. That is right I will be posting on Sundays again. The topics will be writing prompts and how I am dealing with anxiety and my language disorders (aka dyslexia). I have given a lot of thought to adding this sunday post and it is important to me.

Fifth and  final news is I am adding a contribute page for those who would like to blog. More details will be available when the page goes live.

  1. Congratulations on your success. You can do it all!

  2. Congratulations on graduation and Happy birthday to Noah. :) Glad you're back!

  3. Sometimes we have to prioritise things. I don't blog like every other day but I make sure that I have a post at least once a week. School life can be tough and even more tougher if you have a job beside. Finding balance for work, school and my blog has been the most challenging but so far I ma getting into a rhythm. Happy for you that you are done with your BA. Good luck in job hunting.

    Have a nice day/evening

    1. Thank you, yes finding a balance was rough and when I would get the hang of it something would change. I am happy that I will not have to balance school life anymore.

  4. Why aren't you going to your ceremony? I remember thinking the ceremony seemed like a waste of time, but it ended up being such a proud moment in my life to know I had really done it!

    1. I went to school online so it is in another state. The cost of going would be HUGE, and realistically it is do able. Also I would not have any family or friends there so it would not be worth it. I am going to take some pictures I do think that it is important for my son to see that growing up.

  5. Congrats on everything, missed you in the blog world:) Just wanted to let you know I have a small facebook group now http://www.facebook.com/groups/crazy4blogging Did you get a new theme? Love it. Our niches don't match up for guesting but I'll share your post

  6. Congratulations super mom 👍 that is great news.
