Losing weight is one of the top new year's resolutions every year. I am sure this is also the case for single mothers and I really wanted to be able to help my readers accomplish this goal. For that reason Single Mom, What a Life! Has teamed up with OnlineGym4Me to offer all our readers 1 years free online gym access. I am so excited to tell you all about this online gym and help you lovely ladies get where you want to be.

OnlineGym4me.com is an online gym with daily live and on-demand workouts
The OnlineGym4me users can choose from general training, yoga, aerobics, and Pilates. You can take the classes from home,  a hotel, office, on vacation (hehe if you get one of those) or any other location. OnlineGym4me makes exercising convenient, effective, affordable, and fun for all users. All you need is a little space (and motivation), a laptop and internet connection or a phone ( OnlineGym4me is also available on both iOS and Android applications).

What I love!
You can

chat with other user during the class. For everyone this is not a big deal but I really like to be able to ask questions. When you are starting off you can feel like you are not doing a lot right and being able to talk to someone can keep you motivated.

It tells you the level and skill the classes are. I have played around with other apps and online sites and some just toss you in feet first and it's not until you're watching the video that you realize I can’t do this. I really do not want to jump around from video to video seeing what videos work for me.

Tells you what the class is classified. This is one of my favorite features, I know if it is a yoga class or a pilates class, you can even sort by class (win).

They ask how often you want you to exercise, so if you're like me you can have it set for only twice a week.

The classes are under an hour. This is HUGE. I don’t want to work out for an hour.

Pick what you want to out of the gym. Every week you can pick what your goal is for that week. My goal is tone and tighten, so the videos I get recommended are tailored to this goal. This is hands down the best aspect of the site for me, because I am already small. I have wanted to find a way to get toned without losing weight since the end of 2015. A lot of sites are not designed for women who just want to tone.

Your goals can be changed once a week, so if you find that you need to relieve more stress, let's say due to pending court dates, you could set your goal to release stress (big win).

What I don’t really love.
You cannot download classes and I find this to be a big negative. If you do not want (internet detox) or have  internet this should not hinder your ability to get your workout in.

Don’t take my word for OnlineGym4me give
it a try for yourself. Every month, you can choose from more than 200 live classes and access a full library of recorded classes.

Working out as a single mother is a like any other thing in a single mothers life, a juggling act. First, If you’re like me you can feel a little self conscious in the gym sometimes, and let's be real after a long day at work and dealing with children that is the last thing you want to feel. Second, who really wants to find a babysitter so they can go to the gym? Not this mom! Working out at home is a better choice for convenience and self esteem, but the problem with working out at home is motivation (I lack this), and not knowing what comes first. Do I do warmups and cooldowns, what exercise to do first, It’s a lot to remember! That is why I love  OnlineGym4Me. It’s so organised and structured. The instructions and workouts are all in front of you (live or not).  It’s really worth at least a try for learning what works for you. (Get a year free using this link)

Was your goal to loss weight this year?

  1. This would definitely be beneficial for me! I never want to go outside during the winters - even if it's only to my car to drive to the gym!
