"An apple a day keeps a doctor away" - this proverb was quite true for the generations of previous centuries. People who lived in the 16th century were not quite aware of the AIDs, or mental diseases such as bipolar disorder. The number of people who had such a diagnosis was much less than it is now. The viruses mutated, and the bodies of people have undergone a number of quality and quantity changes. If in the 17th century the ecology was quite normal for people to drink the water out of the rivers, now after Chornobyl and Fukushima catastrophes it's impossible to imagine this. However, there are some people on this planet who still live long and stay healthy until the end of their life. They might have got some secrets how to stay healthy. Here are just some of them:

  1. Eating the simplest food you can in small portions frequently
First, avoid eating a combination of ingredients because they are too difficult for your stomach to digest it. Also, it would be better not to eat pork and greasy food at all. The Jews know that secret about the pork and do not eat this product. Therefore, bear it in mind. Secondly, eat small portions, but do it frequently. The French people tend to be slim because they obey this rule. That's why it's complicated to find a fat woman on the streets of Paris.
2. Drinking 1,5 liter of water each day
No, no, no, the coffee does not count. Only clean water with no flavor. Especially, try to drink less sugar, or better replace it with honey. The human body consists of 70% of water, therefore, you should keep the balance by drinking enough amount of water. During the summer season, it's recommended to drink even more than 1,5 liter. Besides, it's good to begin your day by drinking a glass of water before you eat or drink anything else because your body will, so to say "wake up" by this.
3. Exercising regularly with someone
Choose the activity you prefer the most and do it on a regular basis. It does not really matter what kind of activity you choose, all that counts is your ability to do it repeatedly. Make a habit out of it. For example, you may set a time for walking and do it every day. Finally, find someone who is a fan of the same kind of sport and train together. Motivate each other and compete, sooner or later you'll see the result.
4. Sleeping the necessary amount of time
The latest research in psychology states that 9-10 hours of sleep is normal for a human's body to stay healthy. Having enough sleep will protect your immune system because it recovers during this time. Moreover, in some of the hospitals sleeping is a method of curing the illness. The statistics claim that the rate of death between those who slept 6 to 9 hours per night is higher than those who slept from 7 to 9 hours per night. Nevertheless, oversleeping might be dangerous too. Just let it be regular and normal.
5. “Repairing” your relationships with other people
Often our diseases are the results of some unreleased negative emotions. For example, the experts of the science called psychosomatics state that if a person has issues with his or her liver, he or she might have bitterness or is angry about someone. Forgiving is a key to repair your heart and let something good step into your life. It's better to get rid of all the garbage caused by someone else's mistakes. Forgiving is not admitting that a person was right, it's about understanding that person in that particular situation.
6. Developing spiritually building your faith with a help of a guide
Everyone believes in something. Even atheists who claim that God does not exist believe in it. It's impossible for a person to believe in nothing. However, our faith needs to be guided and modified from time to time. Sometimes we need someone who is more experienced and mature in the questions of faith to give us the explanations. Finding a guide in faith is really very important, to sum up.
Staying healthy is a result of plenty of decisions we make each day. Everything counts here: the choice to drink cola, or not, or the choice to eat a hamburger or smoke one more cigarette, or the option to drink a glass of wine. It's all matters here: your physical, mental, and spiritual health. Nevertheless, the most important in all these spheres is the ability to love and be grateful remaining joyful. Surrounding yourself with positive people will only make you benefit out of your relationships, so take care of your friends and keep on being selective.

All in all, stay healthy, wealthy, and wise! Good luck!
